What if Work Gets to be Easy?

What if work gets to be easy? What if we have this whole entire concept of work totally and utterly backwards? Why do we believe that work has to be something to push for, a time for struggle and hardness to bear through, just to get by, to make a living? What if work gets to…

It’s Time for Self-Care

There’s a lot going on in the world right now. A lot. Big things, things that won’t just go away no matter how much we try to just look the other way, bury our heads in the sand, and ignore them. These things will keep on happening, and it’s up to us to step up…

Learn to Listen

Our bodies carry our wisdom, our knowledge, our certainty.
Our bodies communicate to us constantly all day, every day.

Hold On to the Sayings

… except maybe ones like “You don’t even KNOW!” Today, May 20, the Sun enters Gemini, my birth sign. Time for me to do a little happy dance and celebrate my birth month! 😀 It’s the perfect time for you to get to know me a bit better. I realized that, holy moly, most of…

That conversation you’ve been avoiding, that move you want to make, practicing a new language, trying a new activity, speaking up for yourself. Remember to come from a place of love. A place of trust. Remember that everything you’ve ever been through has brought you to this moment, and that’s it’s only by going through this next scary thing, and trusting yourself, that you can grow and learn and step forward in your life.

What Brushing Your Teeth and Sobriety Have in Common

So, you want to get healthy? Put healthy food in your body today. Go for a walk today. Say no to junk food today. Maybe try a new, fun exercise today. You don’t have to commit to it for life. Just try it out today. And if it feels good, maybe tomorrow you’ll wake up and try it again. And bit by bit, you may notice how you have a little more energy than you’re used to. How you haven’t felt down so much lately, or how things are starting to look up, or how your self-esteem has improved a bit, or hey: a number of days have piled up together, and doesn’t THAT feel good!
