Removing the blockage, the wall, that is creating the shadow.<\/div>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-198 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/islandbritt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/20180423_1619401019454753.jpg?resize=3000%2C2250&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"3000\" height=\"2250\" \/><\/p>\n<div>Accept and embrace those spaces, for that is how you kept yourself safe all these years.<\/div>\n<div>It&#8217;s time.<\/div>\n<div>Move on from surviving.<\/div>\n<div>Walk into your shadows.<\/div>\n<div>Place your palms on these walls, one by one. Place all your love, forgiveness, and gratitude there on each one, and whisper &#8220;thank you.&#8221; Thank you for protecting me in my time of need. Thank you for teaching me what I needed to know, as hard as it was.
